Richard Tuttle, Chairman
Richard Tuttle has more than 30 years experience as the CEO of technology and environmental private ventures in Canada and the United States.
He is the Chairman and CEO of Iron Lion Management, a company that specializes in private equity investment and management services for early-stage technology companies. He has served as Chief Executive Officer for: Datapulse Corporation (divested to Mitel Corporation in 1983); Mindflight Technology (taken public on the VSE in 1988); Caribou Systems Corporation (acquired by a CDNX listed company in 1998); and Northstar Mall.ca (Canada’s first internet mall divested to a TSE listed company in 2000).
His institutional experience includes the Private Client Group of KBSH Capital Management, a Tier 1 national investment management firm headquartered in Toronto with $7 billion in assets under management. Mr Tuttle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University.
Rob Barlow, CEO
An entrepreneurial leader by nature, Rob Barlow has been a key factor in facilitating the introduction of numerous strategically significant, high profile new technologies in the Canadian telecommunications sector. From establishing and directing a high performance technology Program Management Office for a telecommunications industry leader, to designing business and technology processes and associated performance metrics, Barlow has clearly established himself as a business leader.
Barlow’s progressive management approach ensures team members and business partners are genuinely engaged, motivated and collaborative. Based on this track record of consistently delivering beyond expectation, Barlow has earned the unwavering trust of senior level executives and is broadly recognized for his leadership abilities.
In addition to his background in telecommunications, Rob has been a valuable asset in the information technology and energy sectors. He launches WireIE having left a strategic position as Director of Project Management, supported by the Chief Technology Officer at a large Canadian telecom, where he was accountable for the successful delivery of wireless and wire line solutions, Wi-Fi Hotspots, Consumer VoIP, IPTV and IP messaging along with numerous other projects.
Les Gower, CFO
Les Gower has more than 30 years experience as a senior Finance and Administration executive. He has acted as President, General Manager, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer over the course of his career. He has also served on the Board of Directors of a wide range of private and public companies.
Mr. Gower operates a management consulting firm, CFO Services, that provides strategic and financial planning services to software, manufacturing and distribution companies. Most recently he has acted as Chief Administrative Officer at BPS, a developer of world class governance, risk and compliance software for the financial services industry. Mr. Gower is a graduate of McMaster University and holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business.
Andreas Lueth, CMO
Andreas Lueth has more than 20 years experience as senior sales and marketing executive working with C-level executives at tier one organizations. His vertical specialization includes the information technology, wireless internet, telecommunications and architectural/construction sectors. Mr. Lueth has a proven track record of success with numerous high profile integrators and resellers. As a Senior Relationship Manager at G.E. Capital, he was responsible for a revenue stream of $24M per annum and was President’s Club award winner on consecutive years.
Mr. Lueth was also a founding partner of Go Wire-less, where he raised $2.5 Million (USD) in initial capital to launch the venture. In his role at Go Wire-Less he identified merger and acquisition opportunities, conducted due diligence and secured financing to complete the purchase of high value targets. Mr. Lueth holds an MBA from Almeda University.
Tim Brown, CTO
With over twenty years of success in telecommunications, information technology and broadcasting, Tim Brown is a communications professional with an extensive background in managing technically oriented teams - primarily in the introduction of new technologies.
Working for market leaders such as Rogers Wireless, Rogers Digital Cable, Telus Mobility, Microcel and Visa, Tim is highly accomplished in project and relationship management involving emerging technologies. Advocating for the client, solidifying vendor partnerships and nurturing the development of his team members are Tim's key motivators.
Tim has experience with various wireless technologies including but not limited to AMPS, GSM, CDMA 1xRTT, iDEN, along with various iterations of 802.11 and 802.16. He also has a background with web based technologies including TCP/IP, XHTML, CSS, XML, Flash, JavaScript and PHP. His passion is new media, along with the broadband wireless technologies capable of delivering this fresh, new content.
