WireIE’s CFO, Les Gower, had a long and impressive career in the financial sector before joining the company. As an MBA graduate from the prestigious Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, Les transitioned with ease into positions such as President, General Manager, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer. He has been on the Board of Directors for many companies with strategic and industry-specific goals in the private and public sector.
Les began his relationship with the socially-conscious WireIE as an investor with the New Carbon Economy Fund, a small group of private investors looking to change the financial sector through exciting new technology. Les managed WireIE’s accounts for many years, until an opening for the position of CFO presented itself in 2008 and he jumped at the opportunity to join the team.
Born a leader at heart, WireIE’s COO Jon D’Alessandro is a perfect fit for WireIE. Jon joined the company with over 25 years of leadership experience under his belt, having held strategic positions in the Information Technology and Telecommunications fields with such industry leaders as TELUS and GE Capital.
Jon is a passionate, driven and goal-oriented leader with a remarkable track record of success in providing complex solutions and contributing to growth strategies and the evolution of the organizations for which he’s worked.
Jon has been with WireIE for over 5 years, and has been an integral part of the company’s success. He was initially drawn to WireIE because of the business’ socially conscious mission. Jon is driven by the fact that his work with WireIE changes the lives of people all over the country.
Cameron Green is VP of Business Development at WireIE. Cam has over 20 years in the telecommunications industry, holding senior roles with Canada’s leading telecom, satellite, internet, security and data service providers. During his time with these companies, Cam developed trusted connections that have aided in WireIE’s continued success. Cam has his BSc from the University of Western Ontario and his EMBA from the University of Ottawa.
Cam joined WireIE in 2013. With his in-depth experience, understanding of telecom industry needs, and his strong leadership abilities, Cam has made a lasting impact on WireIE. He is a valued executive, and an integral part of the WireIE team.
